Bohler Union X96 0.8mm MAG Welding Wire/ HWW-98008 for Honda Pro First (50-7040)
The Honda ProFirst Certification Program previously required the DS980J Welding Wire. Due to lack of availability of the wire, Honda re-tested and has approved a replacement wire for that requirement: Bohler Union X96 0.8mm MAG Welding Wire. Pro Spot is the sole US distributor for the wire.
The new wire, Bohler Union X96 0.8mm is approved for high strength and ultra high strength steel welding procedures on 590-980 MPa steel parts, including:
MAG butt welding on up to 780 MPa steel parts
MAG plug welding on up to 980 MPa steel parts
